In a flagrant contradiction and clear attempt at deflection, retired Police Major General Khalil Pasha Sairin, now posing as the interior minister of the unrecognized and criminal band of radical Islamists operating out of Port Sudan, has circulated false statements in the media, claiming that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) employs armed terrorist groups.

These baseless accusations are intended to distract the world from the ever-expanding list of heinous crimes committed by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), its allied jihadist battalions linked to the Islamic Movement, and other extremist militias against the people of Sudan. These atrocities include beheading and mutilating innocent civilians. These crimes have not only been scrupulously documented — the conscienceless perpetrators themselves have widely shared gruesome videos of these acts on social media, chanting wildly in exhilaration as they torture civilians.

Sudanese everywhere know that the SAF and its minders from the former regime are fully loyal to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood. They have openly admitted that the Islamic Movement and its operatives running these jihadist battalions are deeply ingrained in SAF decision-making. It has also been established that the SAF leadership engages foreign mercenaries to fight alongside its forces.

The undeniable fact is that the SAF collaborates closely with jihadist groups linked to ISIS that are heavily embedded within its camps. It also works with extremist militias from the former regime and other Islamists that are strongly tied to global terrorism.

Since the war began on April 15, 2023, the SAF has recruited foreign terrorists in a futile bid to withstand the bravery, honor, and strategic prowess of our soldiers. We have captured many of them, while many more have been neutralized in combat.

The RSF now stands as the strike force against the resurgence of terrorism in Sudan and the region. We are committed to liberating our country from extremism, and to rebuilding it on just and democratic foundations, ensuring the end of corruption and marginalization for all.
